This is a project/product idea that I worked on for much of 2011. I wanted to build a cell phone signal detector that could glow mildly during tests to catch texting cheaters. I made a few blog posts that are linked to below about my project development. This turned out to be quite a difficult project for me.
I was not (and am still not) an RF engineer, I didn’t have the skills to fabricate with small chips (I do now) and I had to learn how to design an RF circuit that worked.
